North Park Project Receives Unanimous Approval
SAN DIEGO – Designs for Hamilton Row, an innovative 21-unit residential development proposed for the northwest corner of Hamilton St. and Lincoln Avenue in North Park, have received unanimous approval from the North Park Planning Group, according to architect Allard Jansen of Allard Jansen Architects, Inc..
“Community approval of the Hamilton Row design concept was our number one goal,” said Jansen, who designed and built the popular Kensington Park Plaza mixed-use project on Adams Avenue that earned an Orchid Award in 2001. “We designed this project specifically for this community, and the North Park Planning Group members approved it unanimously.”
Hamilton Row offers upscale urban living while preserving the unique character of the North Park community. Featuring three-story, three bedroom, three and a half-bath row homes with attached two-car garages hidden in the rear, homes at Hamilton Row do not share common walls or areas. Each stand-alone home offers front yards and friendly front porches that reconnect with the traditional neighborhood streetscapes.
Offering up to 1,400 square feet, each home features a full bedroom/bathroom suite on the ground floor/garage level, making it suitable for use as an office, guest room or granny flat. Sale prices for Hamilton Row units are projected to start at $500,00 to $550,000. Construction is planned for completion in Spring 2004. Hamilton Row is developed by Hamilton Partners, LLC.
